Cheryl Dent, WordServe Kids
Cheryl was born and raised (mostly) in Houston and has lived in Katy the past 14 years. She went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and graduated with an Elementary Education degree and taught Jr. High in Aldine ISD for 11 years. After having their first child and staying at home for a few years, Cheryl and her husband Mike were part of the start-up team at Grace Fellowship in Katy. Cheryl served as a volunteer leader and then on staff in Children’s Ministry for 14 years.
Mike and Cheryl have 2 awesome kids, Jonathan (16) and Amber (11). They love staying close to home, playing games with family, and car trips. Cheryl also loves reading, going for walks with their dog, napping, and doing puzzles.
Cheryl is passionate about helping children use their unique giftings NOW to change their world for Christ and is excited about seeing God work in and through Wordserve Kids.
