Youth: Costume Party and Bowling Night

Sunday, October 24, 2010, 12:00 AM

Mark your calendars now for Sunday, October 24 because you will not want to miss the costume/bowling Halloween party at Times Square! We will eat, bowl, play laser tag, and have fun together.  We will have prizes for best costume (and if the winner is a guest the host will win a prize as well) and highest score in bowling.  So start making plans now on whom you can invite and what you will wear!  The cost for this event will be $20.

Next Step

Sunday, October 24, 2010, 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Why do you meet in an elementary school?

How come you keep saying I should be in a Community Group?

What does "WordServe" mean, anyway? Isn't that kind of a weird name for a church?

How do I get connected here?

What do you believe?

If you've got questions, Next Step is the place to find answers! Whether you're new to WordServe or you've been here from day one, chances are you have some questions about what we do and why we do it that way. We'd love to have you join in the conversation at Next Step. Everyone is welcome to attend; we will meet immediately after the worship service on October 24th in the library at Huggins Elementary School. You'll have the chance to ask questions, meet the staff, learn more about WordServe, and even make some new connections. We hope to see you there! Can't make it on the 24th? No worries...we'll have another Next Step session soon. Keep checking the website for the latest information.

WordServe Youth Gathering

Every Sunday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

If you're a 6th through 12th grader, WordServe Youth has a place for you, and we can’t wait to meet you! WordServe Youth gathers together every Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 in various locations around Fulshear/west Katy to hang out, eat food, have fun, and learn more about God. Come anytime – you’ll always be welcome here. It’s a great place to bring your friends!

Sometimes we study a book (like this one about a guy who chose to live as a homeless person), sometimes we study topics like "Life in School," sometimes we dress up like pirates (what's THAT about?),...but we ALWAYS have a good time learning more about ourselves, the world around us, and what God has to do with it all.
