Youth: Back 2 School Retreat

Friday, September 10, 2010 - Sunday, September 12, 2010

The sign up deadline for the Back 2 School Beach Retreat is Sunday, September 5. We will be staying at a house on the beach for the weekend and everything is included in your $110 fee. We will be leaving from Cross Creek Ranch at 6 pm on Friday and we will be back on Sunday by 4 pm. If you have friends joining us, make sure they get the packing letter and medical release form (you can email Damon for more information - ). If you or a friend needs to come later on Friday evening due to school events, don’t worry--we can make it happen.

Community Group Sign Ups

Community Groups are made up of 10 to 16 people who meet in homes throughout the greater Fulshear/west Katy area on a weekly basis to study the Bible and support one another as we “do life together.” The Groups meet for three ten-week sessions from late September through early June, with a break during the summer months. Sign ups for the fall term of Community Groups run from September 5th through September 19th. Groups begin meeting the week of September 19th.

WordServe Youth Gathering

Every Sunday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

If you're a 6th through 12th grader, WordServe Youth has a place for you, and we can’t wait to meet you! WordServe Youth gathers together every Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 in various locations around Fulshear/west Katy to hang out, eat food, have fun, and learn more about God. Come anytime – you’ll always be welcome here. It’s a great place to bring your friends!

Sometimes we study a book (like this one about a guy who chose to live as a homeless person), sometimes we study topics like "Life in School," sometimes we dress up like pirates (what's THAT about?),...but we ALWAYS have a good time learning more about ourselves, the world around us, and what God has to do with it all.
