What would happen if local churches canceled Sunday morning services and used that time to go into the community and serve others? What would it look like if we decided that church was all about PEOPLE instead of a BUILDING? You're invited to find out...so DON'T go to church on July 25th!
Instead, join WordServe as we partner with Fulshear United Methodist Church on July 25, 2010 from 8:30 until noon for The Church Has Left the Building--and experience "church" in a completely NEW way! (P.S. FREE lunch for all participants!)
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST sign up for a project in order to receive information about when and where to meet, what to bring, and what to expect. We also need an accurate count so we can order t-shirts as well as prepare lunch for everyone. If you don't sign up, you will not receive the information you need, you won't receive a t-shirt, and we will not be able to accomodate you for lunch on July 25th.

Project 1 – Private residence. PROJECT IS FULL - SIGN UPS CLOSED.
Project 2 – Private residence. PROJECT IS FULL - SIGN UPS CLOSED.
Project 3 – Private residence. PROJECT IS FULL - SIGN UPS CLOSED.
Project 4 – Private residence. PROJECT IS FULL - SIGN UPS CLOSED.
Project 5 – Katy Christian Ministries (Fulshear branch). PROJECT IS FULL - SIGN UPS CLOSED.
Project 6 – Huggins Elementary School. Landscaping and light construction work, may include painting and other general maintenance. This project is family friendly. (24-28 people) Sign up for Project 6 here.
Project 7 – Local Schools (project located at Huggins). Creating teacher appreciation care packages. Sorting, organizing, and filling teacher gifts bags to be taken to eight local schools. This project may also include card and craft making for the teachers. This project is family friendly. (24-28 people) Sign up for Project 7 here.
Project 8 – Lunch Preparation (project located at First United Methodist Church). Preparing lunch, dessert, and beverages for all Church Has Left the Building participants. Lunch will be prepared and served at First United Methodist Church in Fulshear. This project is family friendly. (12-14 people) Sign up for Project 8 here.
