Get ready to give gifts of hope and joy to children all around the world! On Sunday, November 7th, 2+1=Christmas!

"What kind of crazy math is that?" you might ask.

Just click on the screenshot below and take a look at this quick video for our explanation (and an easy-to-follow diagram).

Screenshot -Operation Christmas Child 2010 VideoSo, on Sunday, November 7th, bring two shoeboxes packed full of goodies and one friend to worship with you, and you'll help give children around the world a Christmas gift they'll never forget. See? 2+1=Christmas! And don't forget to hang out after the service for free food and a shoebox packing party...WordServe is packing 100 MORE boxes for Operation Christmas Child!

Wondering how to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child? Here's a quick rundown:

1) Find a shoebox (standard size) or small plastic shoebox-sized container.  You may wrap the box, (lid separately), but it is not required.

2) Determine whether your gift will be for a girl or boy and pick child’s age category (2-4; 5-9; or 10-14).  Tape an Operation Christmas Child label to lid of box to mark boy or girl and age category. Download printable labels by clicking here.

3) Fill box with gifts. Not sure what to pack (or what NOT to pack)? Check out the packing list from Samaritan's Purse by clicking here.

4) Include $7 per box to cover shipping costs. Remember, if you pack 2  or more boxes and bring a friend, no donation is needed.
