Build-A-Smile for a Child

Being in the hospital, often a place of white walls and intimidating equipment, can be a scary experience for a child. But WordServe Church and the Teddy Bear Program at Texas Children’s Hospital wish to help these children feel more comfortable and secure as they receive treatment. Join us at Build-A-Bear at Memorial City Mall on Feb. 18 at noon where each participant will build and personalize a bear to be given to a hospitalized child. After the bear building, we will travel to Texas Children’s Hospital - West Campus to deliver the bears to TCH’s Teddy Bear Program. This Compassion event is limited to the first 25 children and/or adults that register.
