Did you know that in Rosenberg, a large percentage (over 85%) of children are on free and reduced lunches during the school year. Most of these children would go hungry during extended school holidays without Lunches of Love. Lunches of Love is a community outreach program designed to bring the love of Christ to children and their families by providing a nutritious sack lunch to low income children and their siblings (18 years and younger).
Join us on Monday, March 12, from 9-11am as WordServe helps pack lunches for low-income school-age children who are being served lunch during Spring Break by Rosenberg UMC’s Lunches of Love program (LOL). This is a family-friendly event where everyone can help create the sack lunches by coloring lunch bags, making PB&J sandwhiches, by filling bags with goldfish and more.
