WordServe Youth FAQ

My kid is in 5th grade. Can he/she come to a Youth meeting?

WordServe Youth is for students in 6th through 12th grades. As soon as school lets out for summer, rising 6th graders (kids who will start 6th grade in the fall) are promoted into the youth group and are welcome to come and participate in all youth activities.

What kinds of things does WordServe Youth do?

At WordServe, our mission is to guide people to grow as joyful servants of Jesus--an that goes for our students, too! WordServe Youth meets for Bible study, fellowship, service projects, and sometimes, just some good, old fashioned fun! Whether it's through a digital picture scavenger hunt or serving the homeless in downtown Houston, you can be sure that WordServe Youth is having a great time serving joyfully and learning more about what it means to follow Jesus.

When and where does WordServe Youth meet?

WordServe Youth will meet on Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00-7:30 in various locations throughout Fulshear.

My friends don’t go to church. Can I bring them to Youth?

Absolutely! We'd love to meet your friends, and WordServe Youth is a great place to bring them if they aren't necessarily interesting in "going to church." Bring them to a gathering on Sunday nights, or to a serving project or one of our other fun activities. They'll get to know new people, and they just might be interested in finding out more about God.

My friends go to a different church. Can I bring them to Youth?

Of course! Your friends in 6th through 12th grades - no matter where they go to church or to school - are welcome at WordServe Youth anytime! We'd love to meet them!
