Serving Locally
Each month, teams from WordServe will go out into our community in love and service to others. Ordinary people--typically regular attenders of WordServe--come up with ideas for ways to serve others and turn those ideas into a project, funded by WordServe. Projects range from serving at a nursing home to making gift bags for the women at a local shelter to doing home repairs for shut-ins in the area and everything in between.
Do you have an idea for a project? Click here to submit the form that will get you started, or email Marcus, our local missions director, at with any questions you might have.
Another way WordServe reaches out into the community is through The Church Has Left the Building (CHLB), a Sunday morning during the summer when regular worship services are cancelled and our guests and regular attenders go out into the community to serve our neighbors. Check back soon for more information about this awesome day of service, our third annual CHLB, coming in June 2011.
We can't wait to serve with you!
