Clayton Bio

Clayton Wakefield was born and raised in Houston before traveling all the way to College Station to attend Texas A&M. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in philosophy, but his true passion has always been music.

For more than 23 years, Clayton has been playing music both inside and outside of church settings. He is into everything about music – playing it, writing it, recording it, listening to it...he loves it all.

Clayton is married to Leslie, a high school English teacher at Seven Lakes High School, and they are parents to two corgi dogs, Linus and Scarlett.  They are currently in the adoption process on the waiting list for placement and hope to be blessed with a baby soon click here for updates and to read about their adoption journey.  They enjoy enjoy hanging out with family and friends, playing games, reading, seeing live music, going to the lake, and of course Fightin’ Texas Aggie football (whoop!!)  Clayton also enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing in a side project rock band, Zero Hour.
