At WordServe Church, our mission is
Making Disciples...
To accomplish this mission, we use a four-step strategy. Each worship service, program, and activity is guided by our strategy, our values, and our vision.
OUR STRATEGY
Celebrate: (Worship) We joyfully celebrate the presence and work of God during our Sunday celebration service.
Community: (Groups) We joyfully follow Jesus in an atmosphere of loving accountability. In Community Groups, we study the Bible together and discover vibrant relationships with others.
Compassion: (Service) We joyfully care for the needs of the greater Fulshear community and the world through various Compassion Projects.
Connect: We strive to joyfully connect our faith to everyday life.
OUR VALUES
Our values help us make decisions and shape how we become who God has called us to be.
Seeking God’s will as our first priority
We chase after God’s desires by giving up what we want for what God wants. (Luke 22:42)
Embracing transformation as God’s ultimate work
We anticipate transformation in our lives and in the world as God makes His move. (Acts 9)
Risk-taking as sacrificial worship
We consistently break through personal comfort zones and take bold steps to grow. (Romans 12:1-2)
Vibrant relationships as life-giving community
We value honest, trusting, and Christ-centered friendships as the building blocks to authentic Christian community. (Acts 2:42-47)
Elevating others as God’s masterpieces
We honor every individual regardless of worldly position. (Luke 14:1-14)
