Local senior citizens are food insecure and need our help!
Beginning March 7 WordServe will join First Fulshear preparing monthly food boxes for approximately 70 local senior citizens that are food insecure and less able to take advantages of resources like Family Hope. These will be easy to prepare meals (much like our FaithFULL Kids program).
What to do…
- Bring food items to worship every first Sunday (or during week to office).
Ideal food item examples: Cereal/oatmeal, mac n cheese, canned meat, peanut butter/jelly, canned vegetables or fruit, canned soups, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, beans, ready-made/instant items (like stuffing, etc.).
