Elizabeth Janson, Director of Communications - retired

A staff bio for Elizabeth Janson

Janson Family for wordserve websiteElizabeth Janson was born just down the road at Memorial Hermann Memorial City and was adopted by her amazing parents. When Elizabeth was six months old, her family moved to Round Rock, just north of Austin. Round Rock is where she calls home, but living the nomadic life of a football coach’s wife has landed her in Katy, just miles from where her life began.

After graduating from Round Rock High School, Elizabeth attended Baylor University and later transferred to Tarleton State where she met Will. At the time, Will was coaching football at Del Valle High School in Austin. Elizabeth moved back to Austin, transferred to Texas State University and married Will in 2003. She completed her “tour of universities” in 2006 (summa cum laude) with a BFA in Communication Design from Texas State University.

On September 9, 2009 (yes that is 9.9.09), the first little Janson was born. Her name is Jenna Leeann. Then in May of 2012, their second daughter, Brookley Ray, was born. In 2013 Will accepted a coaching job at Taylor High School (Go Mustangs) and they moved to Katy along with Elizabeth’s mom, Ann. After two very chaotic years and several previous relocations, Elizabeth is happy to settle down and call Katy home.
