Where do my kids go?
On Sunday mornings, WordServe Kids, our awesome children’s ministry, is equipped to serve children from birth through fifth grade. All staff and volunteers are fully trained to work with children and provide age-appropriate programming to help kids grow as joyful servants of Jesus. It’s safe, it’s fun, and it’s a great environment where kids can play AND learn.
WordServe Kids programming happens each Sunday, upstairs in the Ministry Center, so while you are experiencing worship, your kids are celebrating in a worship service designed for them! Of course, children are always welcome to sit with parents in the regular worship area as well, but we believe that your kids will LOVE WordServe Kids and the programming that is just for them!
10:15 a.m. WordServe Kids
If you have kids ages 4 through 5th grade who wish to participate in our WordServe Kids program on Sunday mornings during our 9 a.m. service, please sign them in upon arrival using the computer in the Worship Center foyer. Children will join their families in the Worship Center for the worship band's first set to give families the opportunity to celebrate the presence and work of God together. Then the kids and the WordServe Kids leaders will head next-door for age-appropriate lessons and activities or Compassion projects. Following the sermon, the kids will be escorted back to the Worship Center in time for the last song or for Communion on Communion Sundays.
The nursery is offered in our Worship Center for children 3 yrs and under. As always, if parents would like their children in the worship service, they are welcome to keep them there.
On Sunday mornings, students in grades 6 through 12 may attend worship or serve as a helper in WordServe Kids. WordServe Youth meets most Sunday evenings in the WordServe Fellowship Hall (8201 Harris Street) and is a great place for students to grow in faith and connect with friends.
